SARAJEVO, May 24 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović extended congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to all Muslims in BiH, region and diaspora.
In his congratulatory message, Izetbegović points out that in the past month, fulfilling the prescribed obligation and expressing devotion to God, Muslims around the world have strengthened their faith and purified their souls. By giving up food and water, as well as by praying and helping those in need, people strengthened their will before facing new challenges and temptations.
“May the Ramadan spirit of perseverance, self-discipline, patience, compassion and understanding remain in our hearts throughout the year. I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Eid to all Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, region and diaspora, and wish them to spend these days in health, peace and joy, with their families, friends and neighbors. May the Eid joy from our homes and courtyards illuminate the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming days,” it is said in Izetbegović's congratulatory message.
