SARAJEVO, March 19 (FENA) - The Economic and Social Council (ESV) for the Territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an emergency session in Sarajevo, discussed measures proposed by the FBiH government to help the economy and mitigate the effects of coronavirus pandemic, Chairman of the Economic and Social Council, Edhem Biber, told reporters after the session, noting that the Government has proposed a series of measures that are satisfactory to all social partners in the Council.
Biber indicated that one of the proposed measures was the creation of a guarantee fund to assist the most vulnerable economic activities in the new situation and a measure proposing postponing the repayment of loans with commercial banks.
According to the protocol, after the session of the Economic and Social Council, the FBiH Government will hold its regular session today.
