SARAJEVO, January 17 (FENA) - The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Alen Hrvatović (1979) and Admir Salihović (1979) from Tuzla, both BiH nationals.
The accused Hrvatović is charged as Organizer and Manager of the Illicit Arms Trafficking Group, and the Second accused Salihović and other persons known to them as members of an Organized Group, for the purpose of obtaining illicit property gain, made international smuggling of large numbers of hand grenades, automatic rifles, pistols and other weapons and ammunition from BiH towards Germany and the Netherlands.
The indictment alleges that weapons, ammunition and military equipment were discovered and seized in Dresden, in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, and upon a search of a motor vehicle with BiH license plates, 95 hand grenades and hand grenade models, four semi-automatic rifles, eight pistols were found, as well as a significant amount of ammunition of various calibers and military equipment intended for illicit trade.
The accused are charged with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Weapons, Military Equipment and Dual-Use Products under Article 193 of the BiH CC.
The BiH Prosecutor's Office has established significant cooperation with partner agencies of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The indictment was forwarded for confirmation to the Court of BiH, stated the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
