BANJA LUKA, January 10 (FENA) - The Republika Srpska National Assembly (RSNA) adopted about 70 legal solutions last year and covered almost as many thematic units, Nedeljko Čubrilović Speaker of the Assembly confirmed today.
Seven regular and six special sessions were held last year.
55 working days were spent on regular sessions and 10 on special ones.
"I think this is too much time and we can be more efficient and spend less time in plenary sessions, but unfortunately it does not always depend on the leadership of the Assembly, but most often on the behavior of the deputies and on how much they use their rights or abuse their parliamentary opportunities," Čubrilović pointed out.
He noted, however, that the work of parliament depends primarily on the efficiency of the Government.
At a New Year's reception for media representatives, Čubrilović said that entity leadership is striving to be available to journalists to work effectively.
