SARAJEVO, 31 July (FENA) - A group of high-school students from Mostar, upon the request of the citizens’ association ‘’Perpetuum mobile – Institute for the Development of Youth and Community’’ Banja Luka, as part of the project ‘’Initiate the dialogue: Active youth for transparent parliaments’’, will visit the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
They will visit the institution and get to know more about the work of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and talk with the representatives in the House of Representatives: Lana Prlić, Nermin Muzur, Irfan Čengić and Nihad Čolpa, as well as with the delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Alisa Hajdarović and Damir Džebo.
The aim of this visit to the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to learn about legislative procedures, structure and the way of functioning of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina but also to motivate the youth to participate in the election process.
They will discuss the following topics: youth issue, compliance of educational system with the labor market, solving the issue of the high unemployment rate of the youth and disproportion of input policies of the educational institutions and the actual needs of the labor market but also the departure of the youth from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project ‘’Initiate the dialogue: Active youth for transparent parliaments’’ is supported under the program ‘’Dialogue for Future’’ under the auspice of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UN agencies UNICEF, UNESCO and UNDP, stated the Parliament of FBiH.
