SARAJEVO, June 5 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović, and President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayip Erdogan, in a telephone conversation today exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Ramadan Eid, and discussed the ongoing pressing issues in the context of the relationship between the two countries.
Izetbegović informed Erdogan about the process of forming the authorities in BiH, emphasizing that the SDA is ready to support the prime minister designate to form the Council of Ministers under the condition that this candidate respects the Constitution and the existing laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the SDA stated.
Erdogan invited Izetbegović to a meeting that will be held by the end of this month in Istanbul, where further steps will be taken with regards to the project of the Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway construction and to discuss economic relations between BiH and Turkey.
A topic of the discussion will also be the ongoing situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in the region.
