BANJA LUKA, October 8 (FENA) - President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), Milorad Dodik, said today that, as a new member of the BiH Presidency, he wants to introduce a mandatory erecting of the flag of RS in this state institution, and that otherwise, will not participate in its work.

“As of today, I will now form a team that will deal with the issue of organization and rules of procedure in the Presidency of BiH. I want changes in the part referring to the Serb member of the Presidency and I want to make sure that the flag of RS is displayed in every place where I am present. This will be my absolute condition even to enter the BiH Presidency building. Unless there is a flag of RS, I do not see the reason to be there,” said Dodik.

He says that he has nothing against "Željko Komšić bringing his Croat flag, but I will not be there without the RS flag."

At a press conference in Banja Luka, Dodik said that SNSD could quickly form a new government. He is certain that the new RS prime minister will be from SNSD.

He claims that SNSD wants to create a bloc in the state parliament with other Serbs parties.

“I have nothing to say about Ivanić, he lost the elections because he did not fight for RS,” said Dodik.

Those who won the majority at the entity level should be the ones to form the Council of Ministers of BiH, primarily HDZ BiH, with whom, as he says, he plans to continue the already existing close cooperation.

He said that “SNSD would not take revenge against SDA, which in the previous mandate cooperated with the Alliance for Change in the BiH Parliament and the Council of Ministers”.

“If SDP gets the majority of the Bosniak votes, they will be with in in the coalition at the state level, if it is SDA, then, it will be them. I have nothing against it and I am only focused on the firm policy at the state level,” said Dodik.

In the General Elections held yesterday, the majority of votes for the National Assembly of RS went to SNSD, according to the first preliminary results of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After 1,659 polling stations being processed, out of 2,240, SNSD received 153,639 votes or 32.68 percent.

It is followed by SDS-SRSRS-SRS with 89,521 votes or 19.04 percent, while DNS won 67,823 votes or 14.43 percent.

These are preliminary CEC results, with 74.06 percent of ballots processed so far.
