SARAJEVO, June 18 (FENA) - Foreign Minister of BiH, Igor Crnadak sent a congratulatory message to the Greek and Macedonian foreign ministers Nikos Kotzias and Nikola Dimitrov on the occasion of signing of the agreement on the name of the Republic of Macedonia (FYR Macedonia).
Minister Crnadak in his congratulations welcomed the signing of agreement between Athens and Skopje on resolving the dispute over the name of Macedonia and stressed that this is a historic step for both Greece and Macedonia, as well as for the entire region and Europe, stated the MFA of BiH.
“This agreement is a special encouragement for the entire Western Balkans, as it shows that even the most difficult issues can be resolved if there is a will and a vision for a better future.
I believe that this historic agreement will be an incentive to regional cooperation, economic development and the process of European integration of our region,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Crnadak in his letter to the Greek and Macedonian diplomats, on the occasion of signing of the agreement between Greece and the Republic of Macedonia.
