SARAJEVO, May 18 (FENA) - Chair of the BiH Presidency and leader of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović stated that today's decision of commissioner of Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton is a clear example of a lower level of government opposing the decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
"That was illegal and anti-constitutional and there will be sanctions," said Izetbegović, adding that the Prosecutor's Office will be involved.
Considering that Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić called this act an attack against the state, Izetbegović repeated that decision HNC MoI made is anti-constitutional, but he is not sure if he would describe it as Mektić did.
Migrants and refugees who spent days in improvised tent settlement across from the Sarajevo City Hall were supposed to be transferred to the center in Salakovac near Mostar, which was decided by the Council of Ministers of BiH, but on their way over they were stopped by the HNC police near Konjic, who forbade them to enter the canton.
