SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) - Areas of human action in the 21st century are based on new jobs and skills. In order for pupils and students in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be ready for the challenges of the future, it is necessary for the educational system to go through comprehensive and fundamental changes.

In that context, the General Education Project (TABLA), implemented by Save the Children with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), contributes through a series of activities aimed at developing STEAM approaches in education (Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Mathematics) and 4C skills (creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration).

The aim of these activities is to build the capacity of teachers in these areas, modifying study programs in initial teacher education at universities and through training for teachers and their continuous professional development in order to acquire tools and skills to use educational approaches in accordance with standards and practices in other European countries.
