TUZLA, June 14 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to BiH Amelia Achmad Yani held today a lecture at the University of Tuzla, where she spoke to the students and professors about the fostering of diversity between faiths and nations as this represents a tremendous asset for each country.
“We in Indonesia, where millions of people of different nationalities live together, we are trying to unite our diversity. And you in Bosnia and Herzegovina have three nations and you are trying to bring them closer together. I am grateful that I was a guest speaker at the University of Tuzla for the second time and I am pleased that I had the opportunity to speak about the similarities between Indonesia and BiH,” said Ambassador Yani.
Rector of the University of Tuzla, Nermina Hadžigrahić said that today wad the last day of this year's Summer University, which ends with the lecture by the Indonesian ambassador.
“Ambassador Yani showed us and talk about diversity, not only in Indonesia. She spoke about the importance of linking cultures that live and work together throughout the world. This is a good way to begin and continue our cooperation with Indonesia,” said Rector Hadžigrahić.
The Summer University of Tuzla, which has been held for 24 years now, also hosted the visit of representatives of the US Embassy in BiH, and the University of Tuzla, said Rector Hadžigrahic, will in the future work on international cooperation and networking.
