Minister Jusko signs the Protocol supplementing the INTERBUS agreement

BRUSSELS/SARAJEVO, September 25 (FENA) - Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and erzegovina Ismir Jusko, on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the presence of Jaroslaw Pietras, Director General for Environment, Education, Transport and Energy of the General Secretariat of the Council, Maja Bakran, Deputy Director General for Investments, Innovation and Sustainable Transport, DG MOVE, and Eddie Hiegeois, Head of the Land Transport Unit, DG MOVE, signed today in Brussels a Protocol amending and supplementing the Agreement on the International Occasional Transport of Passengers via Regular and Passenger Buses (INTERBUS agreement) expanding the possibility of accession of the Kingdom of Morocco to the agreement.

Taking into account the need for further development of international road passenger transport, the new expansion of the INTERBUS agreement will advance the development of occasional international road passenger transport to ordinary and passenger buses in Europe, as well as in other countries signatories to the agreement, which will facilitate the organization and conduct of transport and tourism and cultural exchange.

By signing the protocol, BiH transport companies are enabled to further improve their international road passenger transport, it is said in the statement from the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH.
