MOSTAR, Jan 12 (FENA) - The Minister For Veterans’ Issues of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC), Oliver Soldo, signed on Friday contracts with representatives of 13 veteran cooperatives on awarding grants for jobs creation in the Canton.
Under the signed contracts, the cooperatives will receive a total of KM 68,620 . Out of this amount, eight co-operatives will receive KM 48,000 to create a new final product, three co-operatives will be awarded KM 16,620 for equipment procurement, while the two cooperatives will receive KM 2,000 each for establishment.
According to the words of Minister Solde, by this the four-year program of the Ministry for Veterans’ Issues has been completed, with a total of KM 194,549 having been awarded.
Speaking on the results of the program, he said that in 2014 there had been three registered cooperatives, and now 21.
- By this four-year program we wanted to achieve a quantum and promote cooperative work. During that period, we signed contracts on cooperation with the Agro- Mediterranean Faculty at the "Dzemal Bijedic" University and the Faculty of Agronomy and Food Technology at the Mostar University, said Soldo.
