ZENICA, January 9 (FENA) – The traffic loop site in the Zenica settlement of Blatuša at the highway M-17, has been cleared after a group of workers of the Zenica Steelworks concluded their protest.
The traffic at the M-17 was interrupted for about an hour and a half, while the workers of the Zenica Steelworks, which is currently subject to pre-insolvency proceedings, demanded that solving of the problems in this company is sped up.
After the workers met with the Zenica Mayor Fuad Kasumović, who promised to help them and set a meeting with the FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and representatives from the FBiH Government, a deal was reached to end the protests and re-open the highway for regular traffic.
After talking to Mr. Kasumović, the gathered workers said that if the negotiations do not continue, they would again block the M-17.
