BANJA LUKA, October 24 (FENA) – One month before the scheduled early elections for the President of Republika Srpska, speculation is growing in public that the elections could be postponed or canceled. All eyes are on the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is expected to rule on an appeal from Milorad Dodik’s legal team requesting a temporary measure to suspend the execution of his sentence. Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison and barred from holding the office of RS President for six years, pending the final decision of the Constitutional Court.
