SARAJEVO, May 30 (FENA) - The total number of tourist arrivals in April 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 83,374, which is 62.1 percent more compared to April 2022, while it is higher compared to March 2023 by 28.7 percent.
The share of domestic tourists in the total number of arrivals was 23.7 percent.
The total number of overnight stays by tourists in April this year in FBiH was 157,151, which is 57.9 percent more compared to April last year, while compared to March 2023, it was 27.6 percent higher.
The share of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 21.2 percent.
According to the type of accommodation facility, the largest number of overnight stays was realized within the category of hotels and similar accommodations, with a participation of 96 percent, according to the data of the FBiH Statistics Agency.
