SARAJEVO, October 7 (FENA) - The President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Bakir Izetbegović, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Izetbegović informed Erdogan about the results of the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and especially about the results achieved by the SDA.

It was pointed out that the SDA has retained the support of the voters, and that in certain parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina it improved its result compared to the General Elections of 2018.

Speaking about the elections for the members of the BiH Presidency, Izetbegović emphasized that the voter support he received was higher in percentage compared to the previously achieved results, but that it was not enough "due to the unification of several parties against the SDA candidate."

Erdogan congratulated Izetbegović on the results achieved by the SDA, and offered full support in further work in the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens.

They also discussed the latest decision of High Representative Christian Schmidt on the imposition of changes to the Constitution of the FBiH and the Election Law of BiH.

Izetbegović assessed that the decision of the HR is a one-sided solution that only supports the strengthening of the position of the HDZ BiH, while the position of Bosniaks and Croats in the RS entity is completely ignored, said the SDA.
