SARAJEVO, June 17 (FENA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with High Representative to BiH Christian Schmidt in Sarajevo today as part of a two-day visit.
"Turkey has been supporting the OHR from the very beginning and we believe that your leadership in this situation is very important and has a key role in preserving stability and peace in BiH. We will continue to support the OHR," Cavusoglu said.
The High Representative thanked Minister Cavusoglu for his visit.
"I want to thank the Minister, Turkey has a strong commitment towards keeping BiH functional and many thanks to the Minister for his friendly stance. The Minister has official meetings tomorrow, but this meeting was very useful," said Schmidt.
Minister Cavusoglu is on a two-day visit to BiH, where he will have a number of meetings with officials from religious and political life in BiH.
