SARAJEVO, February 8 (FENA) - Representatives of the Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, communicators in public administration from BiH and experts in the field of media and information literacy participated in the training "RESIST" on disinformation - How to recognize them and how to respond to them, with examples of best practice, which was held yesterday and today in Sarajevo.
Some of the topics covered are: Recognition of disinformation, What is disinformation and how it differs from misinformation and malinformation, Theoretical overview of misinformation, including its form, characteristics, objectives and potential impact, Overview of FIRST principles of misinformation and real examples of their use, An overview of the available tools for monitoring media and digital media, and how they can be used for early warning of disinformation trends and campaigns.
The training is intended for communicators in public administration, as well as experts in the field of media and information literacy and provides a consistent and effective approach in identifying and resolving a range of manipulative, false and misleading information that may be encountered in the work.
The training was held by communication experts from the Office of the Government of the United Kingdom and the Office of the Prime Minister, and organized by the Cabinet of the Government of the United Kingdom and the Office of the Prime Minister, with the support of the British Embassy in BiH.
