BiH registers 2,969 new coronavirus cases and 33 fatalities in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, January 19 (FENA) - A total of 5,598 samples were tested in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 2,969 were positive for Covid-19. A total of 33 people died, including 17 in the Federation of BiH, 12 in the Republika Srpska and four in the Brčko District of BiH.

 

So far, 13,951 people have died in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of coronavirus infection.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 4,299 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,886 tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, 17 deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH so far is 7,784.

In the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča and in the hospitals of St. Vračevi in ​​Bijeljina and Sv.apostol Luka in Doboj tested 1,501 laboratory samples, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 897 people.

Twelve deaths have been reported in RS.

In the Brčko District of BiH, four people died as a result of coronavirus, and 186 new cases of infection were registered.
