SARAJEVO, January 19 (FENA) - USAID Administrator Samantha Power will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 20 and 21 when it will reaffirm the United States' commitment to partnering with the citizens of BiH on their path to building a democratic and prosperous future in a stable and functioning state.
During her stay in BiH, Power will meet with three prisoners of war who are today the leaders of the reconciliation process, and the official launch of a partnership between BiH and Trip Advisor is planned, USAID announced.
To date, the US government has provided two billion in assistance, primarily through USAID, to support economic, democratic and social progress in BiH, while the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is leading the government's efforts to end extreme poverty and promote democratic societies.
