SARAJEVO, January 17 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik confirmed today that he plans to continue with the policy of transferring competencies from the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the entity of Republika Srpska because, as he says, "that is what the entity assembly has decided."
Dodik says that "this will be the case until the issue of imposed amendments to the BiH Criminal Code banning genocide denial and glorifying war crimes is resolved, which was done by the former High Representative Valentin Inzko did, and the entity representatives will attend the state institutions' sessions only when it is the interest of the RS".
Dodik said that they "never blocked the work of the BiH institutions," and then, in a total contradiction said that "we need to find ways to eliminate the reasons why the RS representatives do not participate in the work of the state institutions."
"We will look for ways to eliminate the reasons why we are not participating. It is possible that some suggestions will be made. We will discuss this in the coming days. We will also talk to the opposition," said Dodik.
The BiH Presidency member Dodik met recently with the Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who asked od him for the Serb representatives to return to the BiH institutions.
