SARAJEVO, January 17 (FENA) - Members of the informal group of citizens ReSTART BiH told the High Representative in BiH Cristian Schmidt today that the previously agreed meeting must be held only as agreed, face to face, in the Office of the High Representative (OHR) or not at all.
The representative of the group, Hasna Ljubović, reminded today at the press conference that, at the protests held on January 10 in front of that institution, they agreed to wait seven days for a conversation with the High Representative.
At the meeting, she added, the High Representative was to offer them answers on what and when to do regarding their eight requests.
"The agreement was that the meeting would take place today. However, on Friday, January 14, we were informed by the OHR that a face-to-face meeting would not happen due to epidemiological measures. They offered us an online meeting," said Ljubović.
She points out that they organized a survey among citizens and determined that the meeting must be held face to face.
Ljubović states that citizens, among other things, demand from the PIC to give unreserved support to the High Representative for the use of Bonn powers in BiH, for full rule of law, then for the High Representative to immediately end the blockade of state institutions and immediately annul all decisions of the RS National Assembly on the so-called return of the competencies.
