BiH registers 1,442 new coronavirus cases, 42 people died in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, January 17 (FENA) - A total of 3,292 samples were tested in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 1,442 were positive for Covid-19. A total of 42 people died, of which 24 in the Federation of BiH, 17 in the Republika Srpska and one in the Brčko District of BiH.

So far, 13,841 people have died in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of coronavirus infection.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 2,647 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,212 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

So far, a total of 1,104,764 samples have been tested in the FBiH, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 206,430 individuals.

In the past 24 hours, 24 deaths have been reported in the Federation of BiH.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH so far is 7,719, the FBiH Public Health Institute said.

In the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and in the Hospital Sv. Vračevi in ​​Bijeljina tested 281 laboratory samples, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 144 people.

In the last 24 hours, 17 deaths have been reported to the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health.

So far, 99,623 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 5,650 people who have been tested for coronavirus have died.

In the Brčko District of BiH, one person died as a result of coronavirus, and 86 new cases of infection were registered. A total of 364 samples were tested.
