SARAJEVO, January 17 (FENA) - Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH Milanko Kajganić held a meeting with a team of prosecutors from EUROPOL and EUROJUST to agree on further activities in the fight against organized crime.
Prosecutors of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption visited the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where they held a series of meetings with partner institutions and agencies to work on international operations to fight organized crime in the Western Balkans.
The activities are related to the establishment of direct cooperation with partner institutions and police and prosecutorial associations, in order to efficiently exchange evidence and information on organized crime.
Among other things, the prosecutors met with representatives of EUROPOL and EUROJUST in order to achieve direct cooperation and communication regarding the provision of information on organized criminal groups in BiH and the Western Balkans obtained by partner institutions from abroad, the BiH Prosecutor's Office said.
