FIPA Director meets with Turkish Ambassador to BiH

SARAJEVO, January 12 (FENA) - Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency in BiH (FIPA) Milica Marković met with Turkish Ambassador to BiH Sadık Babür Girgin and Turkish Ziraat BH CEO Bülent Suera to discuss further plans of the bank and new promotional activities for the Turkish business community.

As the largest state bank of the Republic of Turkey, ZiraatBank BH, it acquired the right to operate and provide banking services as the first bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina with foreign capital back in 1996.

During the meeting, the bank's plans for further expansion, open issues, job satisfaction in BiH and services offered to the business community were discussed.

Marković pointed out that FIPA is an institution that all foreign investors can turn to if they face certain difficulties in their work.

She informed the guests about the investment projects promoted by FIPA and the database of possible investment locations.

The interlocutors assessed that there is a significant space for intensifying cooperation in the economic sense.

It has been agreed to organize new business events in BiH and Turkey to present targeted investment projects from sectors of interest to Turkish businessmen, FIPA said.
