SARAJEVO, January 12 (FENA) - Vice President of the entity of Republika Srpska (RS) Ramiz Salkić said it was important that the United States call on the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to investigate all cases of glorification of war criminals and harassment of returnees during the celebration of the entity's unconstitutional day.
"It is very important that such an important country attaches huge gravity to this anti-civilization act during the marking of January 9, but also to the behavior that is all-present in the RS," said Salkić today in Sarajevo at the conference "Genocide against Bosniaks and demographic changes in the RS".
He expressed hope that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH would understand the message and initiate proceedings against responsible people who have been glorifying war crimes, against officials in local communities where murals of convicted war criminals were painted, but also against those who unconstitutionally mark January 9 as the so-called 'Day of RS'.
