SARAJEVO, January 11 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović sent a telegram of condolences to European Council President Charles Michel and European Parliament Vice President Pedro Silva Pereira after the death of EP President David Sassoli.

- Allow me to express my sincere condolences to you after the death of the Honorable President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli. The European Parliament has lost a successful, conciliatory, but also determined leader, and Bosnia and Herzegovina a dear friend and strong advocate of enlargement - he stated.

He says that everyone in Europe has lost a dedicated fighter for democracy and tolerance and a passionate European.

- I will remember the conversations we had precisely because of his understanding of the problems that modern Europe is facing, true cosmopolitanism, warmth and humanism. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and cooperating with him - Džaferović wrote in a telegram.
