General McGaha affirms the commitment of NATO HQ to support MoD and AF BiH

SARAJEVO, December 22 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sifet Podžić received Brigadier General Pamela McGaha, newly appointed Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo and her closest associates.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Ministers of Defense of BiH, Mijo Krešić and Mirko Okolić.

The current situation in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, the challenges facing the defense system, and the planned activities were discussed.

Minister Podžić praised the current form of cooperation with the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo and welcomed the newly appointed commander.

General McGaha emphasized the firm commitment of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo to continue providing support to the MoD and the AF BiH in the further process of defense reform, as well as full support for our commitment to full membership in Euro-Atlantic integration.
