SARAJEVO, December 21 (FENA) - The best students in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were awarded in Sarajevo today with well-deserved recognitions and one-time financial prizes for outstanding achievements in the 2020/2021 academic year.
Awards and recognitions to the best students were presented by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, for 74 students, nominated by faculties within public higher education institutions in the Federation of BiH: the University of Sarajevo and the Franciscan Theology Center Sarajevo, Universities of Tuzla, Zenica and Bihać and the University Džemal Bijedić in Mostar and the University in Mostar.
Prime Minister Novalić said that the award ceremony aims to send a message to all excellent young people that their efforts and work are needed and that they are recognized and that the best of them are rewarded.
"I believe that future best lawyers, economists, doctors, engineers, pharmacists, teachers, professors, academics, successful businessmen are sitting here today. I have no doubt that you are all good people, whose work will contribute to a better future of our country," Novalić told the students.
One-time financial support for the awarded students in the amount of 2,000 KM each was secured by the FBiH Ministry of Education and Science from the budget of the Federation of BiH for 2021 in the total amount of 148,000 KM.
