SARAJEVO, December 16 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of BiH gave its consent to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH to express interest in joining Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU system of digital COVID certificates.
BiH Council of Ministers was previously acquainted with the Information of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the need to establish a technical solution for the verification of digital Covid certificates in BiH, it was announced after the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs will organize a ministerial conference in the field of health, which will discuss the possibilities of harmonizing the technical solution and the legal framework for the verification of digital Covid certificates in BiH.
The Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH will be the holder of the technical solution.
The goal is to issue Covid certificates that are internationally recognized, in order to enable the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to travel freely to the countries of Europe and the world.
