'Bosnalijek' organized crime case - two persons arrested, five more suspects

SARAJEVO, December 6 (FENA) - The officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are raiding several locations and conducting multiple arrests in Sarajevo and Konjic as part of an investigation into organized crime, money laundering, abuse of office and financial crime allegedly worth several million KM involving the country's largest pharmaceutical company, 'Bosnalijek'.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH said that it conducted a long-term investigation in which international cooperation was established with partner institutions of several countries.

Officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) entered the premises of Bosnalijek and the private house of the director of that company, Nedim Uzunović since an arrest warrant has been issued for him.
