Novalić with IFC representatives on modalities of future cooperation

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, November 30 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić met today with representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) operating within the World Bank Group.

The IFC delegation was led by Public-Private Partnership Program Manager for Europe Mehita Sylla and Senior Investment Officer in the Public Private Partnerships Advisory group Nico Saporiti.

The modalities of future cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The FBiH Prime Minister used this opportunity to inform the guests from the IFC that the Government of the Federation of BiH had recently established the Draft Law on Public-Private Partnership, and sent it to the parliamentary procedure.

IFC representatives were particularly interested in the priorities of the FBiH Government, as well as where IFC's extensive experience to date could help in future public-private partnership projects. It was pointed out that the transport and energy transition sectors would be the ones that could once be the subject of public-private partnership projects.

The IFC stressed that they remain open to continue good cooperation with the Government of the Federation of BiH, the FBiH Government's Press Service said.
