SARAJEVO, November 9 (FENA) - The remains of at least one victim of the past war were exhumed today at the Burnice site, Bratunac municipality.

According to the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is most likely a Bosniak victim who was killed in the 1995 genocide.

The remains found at this site were transferred to the Commemorative Center in Tuzla for forensic and medical processing, and bone samples have been taken for identification with the help of DNA analysis.

The INO BiH spokeswoman Emza Fazlić told FENA that another exhumation was carried out today in the area of Bratunac, at the Voljevica site, but unfortunately, the information about the location of the grave did not prove to be correct and the remains were not found.

The exhumation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and by order of the Court of BiH.
