SKOPJE, September 28 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović began his working visit to the Republic of North Macedonia and met with the President of that country, Stevo Pendarovski.
The topic of conversation was bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of North Macedonia, which were stated to be good and friendly, without open issues, with room for their improvement, especially in the economic field.
The officials also discussed the European perspective of the Western Balkans in the context of the upcoming summit European Union - Western Balkans, which will be held in the Republic of Slovenia.
It was pointed out that the European Union will not be complete without the countries of the Western Balkans, and that European integration is in the mutual interest of the European Union and the countries of the region.
They discussed the process of NATO integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina in connection with the adoption and implementation of the Reform Program.
The interlocutors expressed support for the implementation of the Sofia Agreement on the Common Regional Market, within the framework of the Berlin Process, which was signed, among others, by Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of North Macedonia.
The President of North Macedonia extended congratulations to the member of the Presidency of BiH, Džaferović, on the occasion of September 28 - the Day of Bosniaks.
