KONJIC, September 22 (FENA) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and the EU Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Johann Sattler, visited Konjic on Wednesday, where he was hosted by the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić.
On that occasion, the two officials discussed the situation in the municipality of Konjic, the economy and current and planned projects of the local community with the aim of improving the lives of residents of this local community.
Ambassador Sattler thanked Mayor Ćatić for his hospitality and emphasized that the European Union will strive to support all development programs in BiH in the future, including those in Konjic.
Accompanied by Mayor Ćatić, Ambassador Sattler visited the Museum of Woodcarving of the company Rukotvorine in Konjic, which opened in 2019, with the support of the European Union.
Konjic woodcarving has been on the list of intangible heritage of UNESCO since 2017.
