SARAJEVO, August 31 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said today that BiH is losing its capacity for sustainability as a country and that it is quite reasonable and necessary to discuss dissolution in a peaceful and sustainable manner.
At a press conference in East Sarajevo, Dodik said that he would like "to have someone deny what he was saying."
"The extensive operation of the international factor has failed to make BiH a sustainable state in the long run. This can only be done by forces within BiH, as envisaged by the Dayton Agreement," said Dodik.
He pointed out that "through the concept of the alleged civic organization of BiH, an attempt is being made to abolish the entity voting in the BiH institutions, which would mean outvoting and eliminating both Serbs and Croats from BiH."
"Representatives of the EU and the USA have constantly insisted on the functionality of BiH, thinking that it is a good goal to reach and it could be passed as a framework that would eventually lead to unitarian BiH," Dodik believes.
He emphasized that this could not happen and that he did not believe in the sincerity of their intentions.
"We believe that we can reach an agreement with the Bosniak and Croat peoples that BiH should be equally accessible and an equal framework for all," said Dodik.
According to him, "it is evident that the two constituent peoples are dissatisfied with the situation, primarily the Croats due to the constant outvoting and the Serb people as well, which does not accept that some unnamed foreigner comes here and imposes laws."
"We ask that everything that was done by imposing the laws by the High Representative be redefined by talking about it and agreeing on a new framework," said Dodik.
He believes that there the High Representative in BiH has not been legally appointed, that he is only a representative of Germany and the group of countries behind it.
"In order to be lawful, he must be appointed by the signatories of Annex 10 of the Dayton Agreement and it must be confirmed by the UN Security Council," said Dodik.
