Tadić-UN representatives: Global cooperation in fight against terrorism needed

SARAJEVO, August 11 (FENA) - Global cooperation is necessary for the fight against terrorism and terrorist financing, it was said at the meeting of the Chief Prosecutor of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić with representatives of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism.

According to the statement of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the central topics of this meeting were the activities and work of the Prosecutor's Office in the fight against terrorism and the activities of the UN global program for the fight against terrorist financing.

Prosecutor Tadić, together with the head of the Terrorism Department, Ćazim Hasanspahić, and associates, spoke with officials of the said office and program, Daniel Stonecipher and Kamalan Anwar.

Tadić presented the work and activities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in the field of fight against terrorism. She especially pointed out the significant results in raising indictments in this area, as well as the work and activities within the Task Force for the Fight against Terrorism, with the aim of strengthening the rule of law and security of citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
