SARAJEVO, July 16 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Bisera Turković sent a telegram of condolences to German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas this morning on the occasion of catastrophic floods that hit the German town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
According to the latest information, more than 80 people were killed, and more than a thousand are considered missing.
“We share the grief of the German people and the Government for the severe consequences of the natural disaster that has hit your country. Our thoughts and prayers are with the rescuers and the families of the victims of the accident. Germany is our true friend and the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are with you in these difficult times,” said Turković in a message to a German colleague, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH said.
