During a very open conversation, the officials discussed the current state of cooperation and integration processes between Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO.

It was stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. the Council of Ministers of BiH, should continue as soon as possible with the procedure of adoption and implementation of the Reform Program as a strong contribution to the progress of BiH and stabilization of the situation in the Western Balkans. The NATO Secretary General said that the Alliance supports the reform processes and remains a steadfast partner to BiH institutions.

Minister Turković pointed out that the majority of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina support the progress towards NATO membership, and that this reform direction is outlined in the relevant laws and strategic documents adopted by the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also stressed the satisfaction with the role and contribution of BiH in NATO international missions, especially in Afghanistan, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
