SARAJEVO, July 13 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković participated in the 4th meeting of the Stabilization and Association Council of the EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels today.
During the meeting, they discussed the current state of implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, and exchanged views on the situation in BiH, developments in the Western Balkans and other important topics, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
“We deeply appreciate the continuous support of the European Union, especially during the pandemic, but also during the recovery from the consequences of the pandemic. We welcome the efforts made by the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are especially grateful for the investment plan for the Western Balkans, for the financial and other support that the EU provides in the procurement of vaccines,” BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs stated.
“We are aware of the fact that progress has not been made as planned, but this should not discourage us from tackling the problems ahead and meeting our obligations. I would also like to emphasize that we are concerned about the rhetoric and strategies of portraying Bosnia and Herzegovina as a dysfunctional country. We must focus on such phenomena, act concretely and create a new and more functional environment for faster progress and development of our country," said Turković.
