Novalić with representatives of Turkish company about investment opportunities

SARAJEVO, June 21 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, talked today in Sarajevo with the President of Koç Holding, responsible for the tourism, food and retail sectors of the company, Tamer Haşimoğlu.

The FBiH Prime Minister presented the project of building an industrial zone in the Una-Sana Canton, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation and exports, as well as direct foreign investments in the Federation of BiH.

Koç Holding is the largest conglomerate in Turkey and the only Turkish company on the Fortune Global 500 list.

It is a Turkish industrial, trade and financial concern that includes more than 100 companies in the field of energy, automotive and food industry, electronics, information technology, and financial services and tourism.

“Today, we presented to the largest Turkish company some of the potentials for investing in the economy in the Federation of BiH. The project of building an industrial zone in the Una-Sana Canton is very important for that canton, but also for the entire Federation of BiH,” said Novalić.

This company is currently working on the investment of establishing duty-free shops throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would employ about 1,000 people, the Press Service of the Federation of BiH announced today.
