NEUM, June 18 (FENA) - FBiH Finance Minister Jelka Milićević spoke at a coordination meeting of HDZ officials in Neum about fiscal and financial issues in local communities, saying only the Municipality of Neum generated more revenues in 2020 than a year earlier.
“We exchanged the results of the analysis of revenues in 2020 and trends in economic parameters in the first four and five months of this year,” Minister Milićević told reporters after a meeting between HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović and cantonal prime ministers, mayors and municipality mayors of HDZ BiH.
Revenues in all municipalities, she added, were expected to be lower than in 2019, with the exception of Neum, which recorded revenue growth despite the pandemic.
“This time and these aggravating circumstances for many municipalities, but for Neum it was an advantage due to the good tourist season in 2020, and the Federation of BiH recognized that because that municipality received certain awards as a tourist destination in 2020,” said the FBiH Minister.
