STOLAC, May 28 (FENA) – The FBiH Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić and representatives of eight returnee families in the Stolac municipality signed agreements today on donating construction materials for the construction and reconstruction of housing units.
Beneficiaries were selected through a public call implemented by the Ministry throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina in returnee areas, and construction material packages are awarded based on the number of household members.
“We implemented one part of the project last year, and the other part this year, and today eight families are signing agreements related to the reconstruction of individual housing,” said Minister Ramić.
According to him, there is still a great need to build housing units, and the interest in returning has never stopped.
“We strive to provide support and make life easier through the minimum housing and through support in sustainable return,” the FBiH Minister emphasized.
Minister Ramić and representatives of the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Stolac also signed an agreement for the needs of the Majlis and the construction of infrastructure.
The value of all signed agreements is around 180,000 KM.
