SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - BiH Border Police Director Zoran Galić received on Monday the adviser to the newly established Southeast European Counter-Terrorism Group for Southeast Europe, James Sullivan.
On that occasion, Adviser Sullivan presented the plan of activities that the Counter-Terrorism Group for Southeast Europe intends to carry out in the region and expressed openness for cooperation with the BiH Border Police.
"The US Government has been continuously supporting the BiH Border Police for 16 years, through various types of donations and training for BiH police officers, which is extremely important to us.
I would like to thank the US Government for always being open to help when we express the need for that, but also that they recognize the importance of investing in this police agency, especially during the migrant crisis, when help is very important to us, especially in the form of specialist equipment, to more effectively protect the state border," said Galić.
