SARAJEVO, March 15 (FENA) - According to the burial consents given so far, 14 victims of the Srebrenica genocide will be buried this year at a collective funeral at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center.
Emza Fazlić, a spokeswoman for the Institute for Missing Persons (IMP) of BiH, said this to FENA, noting that this number is not final, considering that the families of victims who were identified earlier and whose identification is yet to come, have time to decide about the burial.
Fazlić reminds that so far, a total of 6,652 victims of genocide have been buried in the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center, while outside the Memorial Center, in other graves, and according to the wishes of families, another 237 victims have been buried.
"In the area of Srebrenica, there is still a search for about 1,000 missing victims, and the search for them continues intensively," said Fazlić.
She noted that by the end of April this year, 16 exhumations had been carried out, and on that occasion, 19 bodies and cases had been exhumed.
