SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) - An interdepartmental working group for the amendments to the election legislation in BiH was constituted today in Sarajevo.
One representative of each club of deputies in the House of Representatives, one representative of each club of peoples in the House of Peoples, and three representatives of the Council of Ministers of BiH were appointed to the Interdepartmental Working Group, formed by the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
It is envisaged that during the process, the Interdepartmental Working Group for Amendments to the Election Legislation of BiH, if necessary, will consult experts from the non-governmental sector, the Central Election Commission of BiH, the academic community and others.
Alma Čolo (SDA) was elected chairman of the Interdepartmental Working Group, Bariša Čolak (HDZ BiH) was elected first deputy chairman, and Sredoje Nović (SNSD) was elected second deputy chairman.
Members of the Interdepartmental Working Group for Amendments to the Election Legislation in BiH from the House of Peoples are: Sredoje Nović (the Serb People caucus), Bariša Čolak (the Croat People caucus), Munib Jusufović (the Bosniak People caucus).
From the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH the members are: Alma Čolo (SDA MPs caucus), Dženan Đonlagić (Democratic Front), Damir Arnaut (Our Party-Independent Bloc), Nenad Stevandić (the Serb MPs' caucus), Branislav Borenović (SDS-PDP-DNS), Borjana Krišto (HDZBiH-HNS), Saša Magazinović (SDP BiH) and Snježana Novaković-Bursać (SNSD MPs' caucus).
Members of the Interdepartmental Working Group from the Council of Ministers of BiH are: Josip Brkić, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Staša Košarac, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and Dževad Mahmutović, Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Refugees.
