ŽEPČE, May 11 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, stated today in Žepče that the goal of the visit of a delegation of the FBiH Government is to see what is happening throughout the FBiH with the funds that the government injects into the economy.
He pointed out that the Government of FBiH in 2020 paid 60.2 million KM in grants to the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and that a similar plan was planned for this year as well.
"These funds are intended for health, economy, infrastructure and in that sense, the Government of FBiH has strengthened its presence at the level of cantons and municipalities," said Novalić during his visit to the cattle breeding farm Trans Expert in Žepče.
He added that the economies of Žepče and Tešanj are also large beneficiaries of the FBiH funds that were formed under the two so-called Covid laws.
"These four months of 2021 were among the most successful, although we are far from resolving the pandemic crisis," Novalić underlined.
He explained that this trend is visible in the growth of revenues of the FBiH Government, which seeks to support the economy to the greatest possible extent.
The Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of FBiH, Šemsudin Dedić, stated that in 2020, the Government of FBiH invested more than 40 million KM in agriculture, of which about 700,000 KM went to the farm in Žepče, which they visited today.
He announced that about 12 million KM will be invested in agriculture this year as well so that the farmers could compete with the imports.
The ZDC Prime Minister Mirnes Bašić said that Žepče has been a municipality for many years that was among the priority ones when it comes to investments from all departments of the ZDK Government.
