SARAJEVO, May 7 (FENA) - Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović talked today with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to BiH Ji Ping on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
The two interlocutors discussed numerous topics. They also exchanged information on holidays in both cultures, and they agreed that there are a large number of common points, MINA reports.
“Islamic culture has a lot in common with our Confucian culture and it is the basis for good relations between us,” said Ambassador Ping.
Raisu-l-ulama expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Ping for the vaccines that China donated to our country.
Ambassador Ping said that his country will continue to do so and will strive to make the coronavirus vaccine a global public good, accessible to all people of the world.
He also expressed a wish to finance a humanitarian project during the month of Ramadan within his competencies, and Raisu-l-ulama gladly accepted it.
