SARAJEVO, May 6 (FENA) – The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, at today’s session, allocated funds for the reconstruction or construction of a new facility of the Bihać Health Center.
Members of the FBiH Government, during the consideration of the Decision on adoption of the Program for allocating funds "Current transfer to other levels of government and funds - transfer for rehabilitation of health care institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2021" proposed by the FBiH Ministry of Health, supported the suggestion of Minister Šemsudin Dedić to change the said decision and allocate funds in the amount of three million KM by internal redistribution of funds for the reconstruction or construction of a new facility of the Bihać Health Center which suffered extensive damage due to the earthquake that hit the region with an epicenter near Zagreb in the Republic of Croatia at the end of last year.
The initiative and activities to help the Bihać Health Center were initiated by Minister Dedić and an MP in the House of Peoples of the Federation BiH Parliament, Hadis Jusić, and later supported by some other MPs from the Una-Sana Canton.
By the adopted decision, the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić" in Bihać received funds in the amount of 1.4 million KM, and the General Hospital in Sanski Most received 360 thousand KM.
